After years and years of rushing, I’m finally slowing down. I spent the last 11 years, post college, trying to figure out who I want to be and where I want to go, and with that has come a lot of stress. A lot of racing to the “next best thing.” Whether it’s a new job, a new career path, or a new diet, I kept finding myself less connected from my body and life, and even more burnt out.

I found that when I finally slowed things down, focused on total-body nourishment (mental AND emotional nourishment), became more present with exactly where I am at this very moment, life felt so much better, and dare I say, easier? I know so many women can relate to this, and I want to help you, with the steps I used to get here.

an ode to a slow, nourished life.

I want to encourage women, whether they are single, married, VP’s, working moms, stay at home moms, students, full-time nomads, (you get my drift) that they can implement the principles of slow mornings into their everyday lives.

Maybe a slow morning isn’t necessarily a “slow morning” at all, but rather a state of mind.

As an NTP who works 1:1 with women, helping them get to the root-cause of their hormone and gut-related symptoms through Nutritional Therapy, I often have clients come to me after years of confusion, restriction, and DIY health plans, feeling totally overwhelmed with WTF they should be eating or doing to support their health.

After a thorough deep-dive on their symptoms and health history plus functional testing, I find that almost all of them have one very prominent thing in common: they’re chronically stressed and running on empty. They’re doing the MOST, and not seeing a thing improve. But once we slow things down, and actually focus on doing LESS, that’s where the magic (and healing) really happens.
